Directing and moderating diverse groups is an essential skill for youth leaders, and there are many different methods you can use to create a great atmosphere for inclusive discussion and decision making processes.
Katrin Hünemörder is an intercultural trainer and project manager and has been active in political youth education for the past 20 years. As a youth activist she was part of the European youth participation movement, and as a trainer she always seeks to empower young people to create their own processes and find their own voices. After having lived and worked in Guatemala for the past ten years, where she worked for a small but globally active peace organization, she is now back in Germany and works in political education projects, using digital media.
